French Four Glass brass mantle clock c1890. The clock is in a rectangular brass case with bevelled glass panels. Off-white enamelled dial with black gothic arabic numerals and shaped hands. An 8-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a coiled gong. Mercury compensated pendulum with twin vials and working Brocot suspension. Supplied with winding keys. The clock is 25.5 cm in height. Base measures 15 cm width and 11 cm depth. Excellent time-keeper. Watch a brief video of it striking (above).
Fully cleaned and serviced but retaining its antique brass patina. The clock's movement is covered by our 12 month warranty in the UK.
