Attractive French Four Glass mantle clock c1895. The clock is in an elegant rectangular brass case with bevelled glass panels. Art nouveau numerals on an ivory coloured enamelled dial with blued steel hands. An 8-day duration timepiece mechanism striking the hours and half-hours on a coiled gong. Brass pendulum with Brocot suspension. Movement stamped with maker's name (Japy Freres et Cie) and H&H (for Harris and Harrington who were case makers). With key. 28cm height, 18cm width and 14cm depth. Excellent time-keeper. Fully cleaned and serviced.
