A quality George V silver photograph frame by Robert Chandler, Birmingham 1922. The silver frame is of a plain oval form with a broad and unembellished, domed surface. This silver oval frame retains the original oak wood back and hinged strut, secured with a fixed tab and two swivel catches. The silver frame is of a particularly good gauge of silver and is inset with a removable glass cover. Hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office 1922 and for silversmith Robert Chandler. The frame measures 20.5 cm by 15.5 cm. Aperture measures 16 cm by 11 cm.
