An early one-piece case French alarm timepiece carriage clock with its travel case c1850. Beveled panels and large rectangular beveled top window displaying its cylinder platform escapement. Elegantly proportioned pristine white enameled face with black roman numerals and subsidiary alarm dial. A 8-day duration timepiece movement. Engraved hands arrow and script on backplate is as that seen on period Drocourt movements. Moroccan leather travel case lined in blue velvet complete with its front aperture cover. Supplied with double-ended brass key. Travel case measures 13.5 cm height by 10 cm width and 9.25 cm depth. Clock height excluding handle is 11 cm (14 cm with handle), width is 7.25 cm and depth 6 cm. Excellent time-keeper. A rare early example with its case.

Its travel case is in excellent condition with little sign of age. Internal marks within the case indicate that it is original to this clock.
