An elegantly simple George III mahogany demi-lune card table c1800. Figured mahogany fold-over top with narrow kingwood crossband border. Table-top edges with mahogany crossbands and box lines above a figured mahogany apron bordered with box lines to lower edge. Square tapered legs with box stringing. Rear legs open on rule joints to support the opened top. Hinged top opens to reveal a baize playing surface with narrow kingwood crossband and box-line border. Current playing surface is age-distressed however this can be re-baized to suit customer requirements (please request a quote). Leg tops and gates with baize pads to protect the opened top. Aged to a gorgeous mellow colour. Sympathetically restored to a high standard and retaining its original finish. The table is 73.5 cm in height, its top when folded measuring 99 cm in width and 43.5 cm depth.

This demi-lune card table is in excellent condition commensurate with age. Current playing surface is age-distressed however this can be re-baized to suit customer requirements (please request a quote). Original finish retained. Minor historic marks, wear and repairs as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture.
