Attractive hand-blown, blue and gold striated conical art glass vase from Mdina Glass c1980's. Signed Mdina to base. 8.5cm hieght and 9cm at its widest diameter. A beautiful, unusual and very collectible piece.
 
Eric Dobson and Michael Harris came to Malta from the UK and founded Mdina Glass in 1968. Using traditional artisan techniques Mdina Glass established its growing export markets through quality and innovative designs. In 1987 Mdina Glass won the International Award for Tradition and Prestige in Brussels. The company has kept its glass making at Mdina, Malta.
