A good Regency rosewood tea table. Rectangular top with radiused corners and inlaid boxwood lines. Fold-over top rotates to reveal an internal lined compartment and opens to reveal a rosewood surface with boxwood lines to match tabletop. Rosewood apron with gadrooned border above a turned and anthemion carved, gadrooned central pedestal with gilt metal mount. Raised on a quadriform base with gilt metal mounts and carved claw feet and castors. Sympathetically restored and retaining its original finish. The table is 76 cm in height, its top when folded measuring 104 cm in width and 52 cm depth. Opens to give a very useful 104 cm x 104 cm pedestal table.

This tea table is in excellent condition commensurate with age. Minor historic marks, wear and repairs as is to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Pedestal and base are solid giving a very solid tabletop. This table has been restored in our workshop to a very high standard using traditional methods and materials.
