Striking Art Deco Royal Doulton stoneware vase by Lily Partington c1920. The vase is of ovoid form with waisted tapered neck. Stylised floral and foliate decorative band over a stippled blue-gray ground. Impressed Royal Doulton mark (lightly struck) and pattern number 7916. Incised monogram LP for Lily Partington. The vase is 14 cm in height and 14.5 cm maximum diameter.
Lily Partington worked at Doulton as a senior assistant during the late 19th century to early 20th century.
